We had a great day at McBride HS's first VEX Tournament. Thanks to John Jacobsen for putting on a great tournament.
Alliance selection was tough since most of the teams at the tournament were relatively equal in skill. Also, we were allowed only two-team alliances. Eventually we aligned with Singularity Team 1877K, who were former Rolling Robots players. Apparently, a whole bunch of people left Rolling Robots to form their own organization called the Steam Bot Workshop. Their Facebook page is at https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Elementary-School/STEAM-Bot-Workshop-161104697815361/
Amazing that all Singularity did to come in second place was put mobile goals in the zones and play defense. But they did it so well we had to pick them. Thanks guys!
