VOLT Wins at South San Diego VEX

After going 0-2 in our first two matches, we battled back to finish the tournament with a record of 4-3. We then allied with Palos Verdes Peninsula HS team 3050A and Beckman High School team 2496R to win this 37-team tournament after some close playoff matches. VOLT also won the VEX Create Award for innovative engineering. Congratulations to our alliances and our former teammates Derek Teshiba and Ryan Steinman who now anchor 2496R. It was a tough tournament and we are grateful to be qualifying for the California State Championship for the second year in a row.
